Visa Check Card Dispute

A Visa Check Card Dispute occurs when a member and merchant cannot resolve an issue about a particular transaction. This does not apply to ATM transactions or any transactions requiring a PIN.

The merchant must follow certain regulations in order to accept Visa Check Cards. Sunshine State Federal may be able to assist in resolving the dispute. Due to strict time limits imposed on disputing transactions, your dispute form and supporting documentation must be received within 60 days from the date of the statement on which the transaction in question appears.

Have you ever needed to check your account balance or know if a certain check has cleared and it was after we were closed or on a weekend?

Sunshine State Federal Savings and Loan Association is pleased to announce it's new 24-hour Telebanking Service, which gives you 24-hour access to your accounts through the telephone.

Now you can check balances and transfer funds on checking accounts and savings accounts. You can also verify deposits, ATM/Check card transactions, or checks that have cleared. You can even make a loan payment and check our current deposit rates.

To use the loan payment and fund transfer features, you will need to sign up at any of our conveniently located branches. You can begin using the inquiry features immediately.

It's easy! Just call 659-3404 and follow the instructions. Out of area customers may call toll free 1-866-398-6423. The first time you call you will be asked to enter the last four digits of your Social Security number, and you will be asked to select a PIN (Personal Identification Number) for your account.

Our transfer program enables you to have funds transferred between any and all accounts within Sunshine State Federal on a recurring basis

Sign up for Direct Deposit and your paycheck will be automatically deposited into your account on payday. No need to make a trip to the Branch office. You will have immediate access to your money. Even if you are on vacation or away from work, you'll have peace of mind knowing that your check is deposited into your account on time!

ELECTRONIC FUNDS TRANSFER AGREEMENT AND DISCLOSURE

Transactions initiated in foreign countries and/or foreign currencies will be charged to your Account in U.S. Dollars. The conversion rate to dollars will be (a) a rate selected by Visa from the range of rates available in wholesale currency markets for the applicable central processing date, which rate may vary from the rate Visa itself receives, or (b) the government-mandated rate in effect for the applicable central processing date, in each of the above instances, plus or minus any adjustment determined by Sunshine State Federal Savings and Loan.
