Newly Redesigned and Enhanced Version of Online Bill Payment Service
Viewing and paying your bills is even
easier!
Sunshine State Federal is pleased to provide you with a
redesigned and enhanced version of Bill Payment, giving you more
flexibility and making paying your bills even easier. The
features of this new version were designed to save you time
while giving you more control over managing your bills.
-
Separate Bill Pay Login Eliminated
Logging into the new Bill Pay is even easier. Simply select
the account that you would pay bills with, click on
“Payments” and you will open the payment center. There is no
longer a need for a separate log in. You will only be able
to access Bill Pay through our Internet Banking System.
-
The Payment Center – “Single-Point
Bill Management”
The Payment Center (or hub) provides a single point of
access for consumers, from which they can make all their
payments and manage the bill life cycle. The mini modules on
the Payment Center now display incoming bills (Bill
Reminders), all scheduled payments (Pending Payments), and
the last 45 days’ worth of completed payments (Recent
Payments). The Payment Center also features simplified
navigation, as all OBP tasks originate from this page. There
are only 4 additional tabs: Add a Bill, Manage My Bills, My
Accounts, and My Profile.
-
Smart Biller Setup – Quick Add
Feature
Smart Biller Setup refers to the redesigned Payee Add
process. Consumers now have the option of adding new payees
to the service using the long form or by using the new Quick
Add feature. Quick Add allows users to add payees using only
a phone number. Consumers can set up their Bill Pay service
in far less time than before.
-
Earliest Available Payment / Dynamic
Calendar – “Faster Payments”
The dynamic calendar tool displays the earliest available
payment date for every individual payee, even unmanaged
merchants. More than half of all of Bill Pay electronic
payments are completed on the same day or next day. The
calendar shows not only all available payment dates over a
two month view, but also highlights the current date and the
bill’s due date, if available.
-
Bill Reminders – Automated
Notifications
Bill reminders allow consumers to establish due dates for
non e-bills, which then populate the Bill Reminders module
on the Payment Center, providing notification that the bill
has arrived. Consumers can also set preferences for
receiving e-mail notifications of bill reminders, as well as
past due notices and other options. Bill reminders enable
consumers to control the entire bill payment life cycle.
-
Additional Features and Enhancements
– Simplicity and Improved Financial Management
Numerous other improvements have been incorporated as well,
including the use of “smart” pages that dynamically alter
based upon the task the consumer is trying to complete.
Payment confirmation numbers, memos and notes, automatic
payment editing and payment posting information displayed
within bill detail after a payment has been received and
credited to a subscriber’s account for many payees
contribute to improved financial management for the user.
These features, enhancements and more all
contribute to the simplicity, speed, control, convenience and
quality you should expect in your online bill payment
experience.
